Spall-resistant high-alumina bricks

Anti-spalling high-alumina bricks have the characteristics of good thermal shock resistance and strong adaptability to the environment, and can remain stable under 1100 °C water cooling conditions, GKBL-70 models can withstand more than 20 times, and KBL-70 models can withstand more than 15 times.

Classification:

Anti-spalling high-alumina bricks are refractory products prepared by molding and high-temperature firing by using super-grade high-alumina bauxite clinker and ZrO2-containing synthetic materials as raw materials, adding a certain amount of composite binders and additives, and controlling the particle gradation of the mud.

Anti-spalling high-alumina brick has excellent thermal shock stability, high load softening temperature, high high temperature strength, alkali and clinker erosion resistance, certain mechanical strength, high temperature wear resistance, peeling, anti-crusting, ringing, low thermal conductivity, long service life and other comprehensive characteristics.

The physical and chemical indexes of anti-spalling high-alumina bricks include aluminum oxide content, bulk density, apparent porosity, compressive strength at room temperature, load softening temperature, thermal shock stability and other indicators. According to the chemical composition, it is divided into two categories, one is a spall-resistant high-alumina brick containing ZrO2, the model is GKBL-70; The other type is anti-spalling high-alumina bricks without ZrO2, model KBL-70.

Anti-spalling high-alumina bricks are widely used in new dry kilns, Libo kilns and wet kilns. Parts used include kiln door covers, rising flues, cooling belts, safety belts, transition belts, chiller back and side walls, and beam curved roofs.

Spallation-resistant high-alumina bricks are also resistant to the erosion of potassium, sodium, sulfur, chlorine and alkaline salts, making them ideal materials for cement kiln transition zones and decomposition zones.

In summary, anti-spalling high-alumina bricks are very important in high-temperature industrial applications due to their excellent properties, especially in the occasions where direct contact with high-temperature, high-alkali and high-wear materials is required.
