1. Production raw materials and processes: 
   Raw materials: generally include coarse powder of pyred gemstone, bauxite earth, mullite fine powder, clay fine powder, etc. For example, the alumina content in scorched gemstones is not less than 40%, and the iron oxide content is ≤ 0.8%; Different grades of bauxa-vanadium earth also have corresponding requirements for the content of alumina and iron oxide. The particle fineness and size distribution of each raw material also have an important impact on the performance of bricks. 
  Process: First, various raw materials are mixed according to a certain proportion, then formed, dried, and finally loaded into a kiln for firing. In the preparation process, process parameters such as temperature control are very critical, and appropriately increasing the firing temperature can increase the density of refractory bricks and reduce the porosity. In addition, some special preparation methods include the treatment of the slurry and multiple roasting, drying and other steps to improve the compactness of the brick.

2. Performance characteristics: 
   Low porosity: This is its main feature, the porosity is usually less than 17%, compared with ordinary clay bricks, it is more difficult to penetrate gas, and can effectively block the ingress of gas. 
   Strong erosion resistance: due to the low porosity and dense microstructure, it is not easy to be eroded by slag, gas and other erosion media during use, and has good erosion resistance, which is suitable for various harsh working environments. 
   High mechanical strength: After high-pressure molding and high-temperature sintering and other processes, its internal structure is compact, with high compressive strength and flexural strength and other mechanical strength, and can withstand large pressure and load. 
   High refractoriness: It can maintain good stability in a high-temperature environment, has a high degree of refractoriness, and can meet the requirements of various high-temperature kilns. 
   Good thermal shock stability: in the case of rapid temperature changes, it is not easy to crack, peel off and other phenomena, has good thermal shock stability, and can adapt to the temperature fluctuation of kilns and other equipment during operation.

3. Application field: 
   Industrial kilns: widely used in the lining of blast furnaces and hot blast furnaces in the iron and steel industry, cement kilns in the building materials industry, chemical kilns in the chemical industry, etc., which can effectively improve the service life and work efficiency of the kiln. 
   Glass kiln: It is used more in the regenerative chamber of the glass kiln, which can withstand the high temperature and erosion of the glass melt to ensure the smooth progress of glass production.

4. Market price: Due to the complex production process, excellent performance and high requirements for raw materials, the price of low-porosity clay bricks is higher than that of ordinary clay bricks. Prices vary depending on porosity, size, brand, and other factors.
