High alumina refractory balls
Classification:
Product Introduction
High-alumina refractory ball is a refractory material made of industrial alumina and refractory kaolin as the main raw materials, through scientific formulation, forming and high-temperature calcination. Here are some of the main properties and applications of high-alumina refractory balls:
1. Characteristics
1. High strength, high hardness, high wear resistance: High alumina refractory balls have these properties due to their high content of alumina.
2. High temperature resistance: The maximum heat resistance temperature can reach 1900 degrees.
3. Corrosion resistance: no chemical reaction with materials, with good chemical stability.
4. Bulk density: usually between 2.3g/cm³ and 3.05g/cm³.
5. Compressive strength: up to 25MPa.
6. Apparent porosity: between 18-24%.
7. Cold crushing value: between 15-35KN.
8. Load softening starting temperature: 1550°C (100N/ball).
2. Application
1. Ceramic, enamel, glass, chemical factory: used for finishing and deep processing of thick and hard materials.
2. Chemical fertilizer plant: especially suitable for high and low temperature change furnaces, conversion furnaces, hydrogenation converters, desulfurization tanks and methanation furnaces, which play the role of dispersing gas and liquid, and supporting, covering and protecting catalysts.
3. Iron and steel industry: It can be used in hot blast furnaces and heating conversion equipment.
3. Material
High-alumina refractory balls are subdivided into 60, 70, 80, 85, 90 and other series according to the alumina content, and can be divided into 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm refractory products in the shape of balls according to the size. The Al2O3 content is between 70-86%, and other components such as Cr2O3, ZrO2, and Fe2O3 also have clear requirements.
Due to their excellent physical and chemical properties, high-alumina refractory balls play an important role in high-temperature industrial applications, especially in environments that require abrasion, high temperature and corrosion resistance.
