Alkali-resistant refractory castable
Classification:
Product Introduction
Alkali-resistant refractory castable is a hydraulic casable with alkali resistance prepared by using silicon-aluminum material as aggregate and powder, aluminate cement as a binder, and mixed with appropriate admixtures.
Alkali-resistant castables are divided into three grades of NJ-1, NJ-2 and NJ-3 according to the performance indicators, which can react with alkali metal oxides to form a high-viscosity liquid phase at high temperatures to form a dense protective layer to prevent further penetration and erosion of alkali metal melts.
Alkali-resistant refractory castables are divided into two types: light and heavy according to different use environments and conditions. The porosity of light alkali-resistant refractory castables is greater than 45%, while that of heavy alkali-resistant castables is less than 45%. Heavy alkali-resistant castables are mainly used in the kiln tail, kiln head, preheater, discharge port, tuyere and other parts of roasting alumina rotary kiln and cement rotary kiln. The lightweight alkali-resistant refractory castables are mainly used for the top cover of the preheater, the cylinder and the thermal insulation lining of the kiln of the above-mentioned rotary kiln. In addition, alkali-resistant refractory castables are also suitable for industrial kilns with alkali corrosion in steel, non-ferrous metals, glass, machinery, petrochemical and other industries.
Alkali-resistant refractory castables play an important role in industrial high-temperature equipment due to their alkali resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance and easy construction, protecting equipment from the erosion of alkaline media, improving energy utilization efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
