Fused α-β corundum bricks

Fused casting α-β corundum bricks refer to corundum refractory products made by melting casting method with corundum as the main crystal phase, including α-Al2O3, β-Al2O3 and α, β-Al2O3 corundum products composed of three different crystal phases.

Classification:

Fused casting α-β corundum bricks refer to corundum refractory products made by melting casting method with corundum as the main crystal phase, including α-Al2O3, β-Al2O3 and α, β-Al2O3 corundum products composed of three different crystal phases.

The fused casting α-β corundum brick has high hardness and erosion resistance, its structure is dense, and the erosion resistance to molten glass below 1350 degrees is excellent.
The material is composed of about 50% α-corundum and β-corundum, and the interlacing of the crystals of the two forms a very dense microstructure, with excellent resistance to strong alkalinity. In the temperature range below 1350°C, it has excellent resistance to molten glass erosion.

Casting α-β corundum brick is a high-quality masonry refractory material for the cooling part of the glass melting kiln, the pool wall, the bottom and the float kiln launder.
Fused α-β corundum bricks are widely used in glass furnaces in light industry, building materials, electronics, etc., especially in glass erosion resistance, high temperature wear resistance, foaming resistance, stone resistance, etc., especially with a crystalline structure that almost does not pollute the glass liquid.

In summary, fused casting α-β corundum bricks have been widely used in the glass industry due to their excellent physical properties and chemical stability, especially in the key parts of glass melting furnaces.
